There could be a few reasons why a ''Comms Error'' message could be displaying on your E+ display. Please view the fault finding tips below and from pages 32-33 on the E+ electric unit heater installation manual: Option 1) Please check the program key is fitted correctly and not damaged. Please refer to the E+ electric unit heater installation manual for the correct valve resistance and for more information on this issue. Option 2) The Display will talk to all the units if the control boards have been wired correctly and addressed, please check if this has been done correctly. Please refer to the manual. Option 3) Press and hold in the '+' key and then press 'Menu' for 2 seconds this will enter engineer mode. Press 'Menu' 12 times or until you see 'Heater Scan'. Please refer to the E+ electric unit heater installation manual for more information. Option 4 ) Press 'OK' and change 'No' to 'Yes' by pressing the '+' key and then press 'OK'. This will make the display Re-learn the address.
